Our mission

Los Angeles Electricity exists to make technical and commercial electricity decisions easier to understand. The site combines concise explanations, current primary sources, planning calculators, and an optional path to local project quotes.

What we are—and are not

We are an independent publisher and planning resource. We are not an electrical contractor, LADWP, Southern California Edison, the City of Los Angeles, or a government agency. We do not issue permits, determine rebate eligibility, perform load calculations, or set utility rates.

Who we serve

The first audience is Los Angeles residents evaluating EV charging, panel work, electricity bills, and related electrification decisions. Content for contractors, multifamily properties, and commercial projects will expand only when the site can add real local value rather than duplicate generic national advice.

How the business works

The planned revenue model includes clearly disclosed lead referrals, contractor sponsorships, and featured placements. These relationships will not change source standards, permit fake reviews, or turn sponsored status into an implied quality rating.
